Maybe it's not the grand reopening yet, but I wanted to put something up while I was thinking about it. I think delusion remains one of our species' great strengths, and it's certainly an important part of our national character back home. I wanted to honor some enjoyable video fantasies I've gathered in my endless trawl. click on the Names to see the vids.
#1: Grownups Come Back.
My girlfriend's niece is a little dependent on this song, and now I keep watching it alone and laughing while feeling really awful and scared. It's like this video has opposite effects on children and adults.
#2: Dan Quinn's Web of Personal Myths.
So it's possible everyone already knew about this ten years ago, or I've already told you all (stop me if you've heard this already) but Dan Quinn is a master storyteller whose legend continues to grow though he has been incarcerated for some time and his videos are only available from fans who copied his work before he deleted it. Dan likes to talk about how he discovered the secret of cold fusion (which is done by mixing Stevia and water in a blender), which helps keep his body unnaturally young and fit. He also likes to mention the sex move he invented, the violin, which makes “pussies light on fire like it's a fucking piƱata on Cinco de Mayo”, that he is “a brother trapped in white skin” and that he is the inspiration for the bad boy club logo.
I put music to the audio of one of his videos here.
#3: That Dog is Not Going to Murder You.
This man and dog seem made for each other, but that dog is definitely going to kill this man in the future.
